What is an Animal (Veterinary) Prescription?

A animal prescription is a prescription for an animal written by a vet and as such it is not paid for by the NHS.

Veterinary prescriptions must be paid for by the animal owner in full.

It is typically written on the veterinary surgeon’s letter headed paper. Any registered vet can provide a private prescription.

To use our convenient Prescription Delivery Service, follow these simple steps:

1. Print out the following order form in Word for Windows format in Acrobat format:

2. Please complete your payment details and contact telephone numbers on the form.

3. Check that the address on your prescription is correct and includes your postcode. If you wish to have your medicines delivered to an address other than the address on your prescription, Simply add the details in the appropriate section on the form. Please note that when selecting your address a signature will be required on delivery.

4. Post the completed form ALONG WITH YOUR PRIVATE PRESCRIPTION to:

5. Please allow 5 working days from the date you post your prescription for your medicines to be delivered.
